Kwame Brown, Michael Jordan reunited againBasketball Betting Lines08/23/2010 - CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan is bringing back what's considered his worst move as a basketball executive: Kwame Brown. The Bobcats on Monday agreed on a one-year deal with Brown for the veteran minimum of $1.3 million. Agent Mark Bartelstein says Brown will sign on Tuesday. Jordan was running the Washington Wizards when he selected Brown straight out of high school with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft. The big man turned out to be a major disappointment. Jordan was later fired by the Wizards. He joined the Bobcats as a part owner in 2006, and bought the team outright this spring. Now Jordan hopes the 6-foot-11 Brown will add depth. LUCIE, Fla. -- New York Mets pitcher Orlando Hernandez, sidelined at spring training because of arthritis in his neck, is expected to resume throwing on Tuesday. Hernandez received a cortisone shot Thursday after leaving camp and returning to New York to have his neck examined. The 41-year-old right-hander is penciled in as the team's No. 2 starter behind Tom Glavine. El Duque's health is a major issue for the Mets, who won the NL East in 2007 and came within one victory of the World Series. Their aging and unsettled rotation is a big question mark this year.
