The Pistons pulled ahead by as many 17 in the second quarter on a Hamilton jumper with 2:24 left making the score 53-36. Detroit finished the frame up 56-40. In the third, the Wizards pulled from 18 down at 58-40 to within seven at 66-59 after a James Singleton layup with 3:06 remaining. But the Pistons scored 11 of the final 15 points in the quarter to possess a 77-63 edge at the end of the frame. Washington rallied back in the fourth to within twelve at 83-71 after a Blatche turnaround jumper, but the Pistons didn't let up and finished strong. They led by as many as 19 in the frame on a Charlie Villanueva triple with 4:20 left. Game Notes Detroit swept the season series 4-0...Blatche appeared in his 300th career game...Washington falls to 9-21 on the road this season...Detroit outscored the Wizards on the fast break 28-11...Pistons forward Kwame Brown was ejected after a double technical foul in the second quarter. Detroit played without Ben Wallace (knee) and Rodney Stuckey (dizzy spells).
