Ahead 83-81 a little less than midway through the fourth quarter, the Clippers ripped off eight straight points to forge ahead by 10 points. Maggette scored five points during the surge, which gave LA a 91-81 cushion. The lead later ballooned to 103-88 after a Mobley three-pointer with 26.8 seconds left. Los Angeles, which led 28-26 after one quarter and went into the half down 51-50, received only eight points from the bench. The Clippers led 76-74 after three quarters.
